Peter Matthew Lunsford was born and raised in Ashland Kentucky. He attended Paul Blazer High School and after graduation served on active duty in the United States Army. At the age of 19, Pete was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and not to long after received a desire to preach the Word of God.

While attending Marshall University, and a member of the Army National Guard, Pete served as a Christian Camp Counselor during the summer months, working with the inter-city youth in Huntington, WVA for a residential Christian Camp. Since graduating from Marshall with a BA degree in Crimianl Justice, Pete has served the public in the field of Adult Corrections with the States of West Virginia and Kentucky and some experience with Juvenile Justice. Pete is a student of Summit Theological Seminary, attends local ministers meetings and attends programs at the Person to Person Ministries in Hillsboro, Oh. Pete also serves as a Director with Howell's Mill Christian Assembly.

Pete and his wife, Sandy, have three boys named Josh, Tyler, and Tanner. Josh is 19, Tyler 16, and Tanner 12. Sandy is a graduate of Ohio University and a RN. The boys are very active in sports and in their youth groups.

The Lunsford family had placed their membership with the Boyd County Christian Church, a KYOWVA church plant, where Pete was ordained as a minister. They were very active with building the church youth group forming and overseeing activities, devotions, and teaching. Boyd County Christian has been blessed by God with the numbers of the youth and their program.

Pete and his family had continued their ministries to First Christian Church in Louisa, Ky where Pete served as the Pulpit Minister. There was a great spiritual growth within the adult and adolescent/children programs during the Lunsford ministry.

Currently, Pete and his family, are ministering to the Boyd County Christian Church in eastern Ky., with help from families from around the tri-state area. Pete will serve as the Senior Pulpit Minister and as an Elder.
